BusinessOS speaks MCP, the open standard assistants use to work with outside tools. Add one address and your assistant can read and manage your work, acting as you.
https://mcp.runbusinessos.com/mcpOne organisation per connection. Manage it in Settings, Connections.
The assistant searches your contacts, companies, email threads, calendar, tasks, proposals and files, and answers from what is actually there.
Nothing to install and nothing to host. You add one address and sign in the way you always do.
Step by step instructions are in the docs.
In Claude and ChatGPT this is a Connectors panel in settings.
https://mcp.runbusinessos.com/mcp, the same for every workspace.
You are sent to BusinessOS to sign in, so your assistant never sees your password.
The connection only ever reaches the one you pick. Review what the assistant is asking to do, then approve.
A connected assistant can read and manage your work. Anything that leaves your business stays a decision you make in BusinessOS.
MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard for letting an AI assistant work with an outside tool. You do not need to understand it to use it. In practice it means Claude and ChatGPT can be pointed at your BusinessOS workspace and answer questions about your own business rather than the internet in general.
Claude and ChatGPT both support MCP connectors, and so do a growing number of other tools. Anything MCP-capable can connect to the same address.
No. You add one address in your assistant’s connector settings and sign in to BusinessOS the same way you always do. There is nothing to install, host or write.
It sees exactly what you see, and nothing else. The connection acts as you, so anything your own account cannot open stays closed to it. It also reaches one organisation at a time: if you belong to several, you connect each one separately.
No. It can draft an email and leave it waiting for you, but sending is not something the connection can do. Nor can it reply to a thread, invite anyone to a meeting, or reach your billing and team settings. Anything that leaves your business stays a decision you make in BusinessOS.
In Settings, Connections, at any time. Disconnecting takes effect immediately, on the assistant’s very next request.
